Hi there, Truckers.
We hope you enjoyed the summer solstice, perhaps you are went down to Stonehenge or you’re getting ready for Glastonbury – yes, it’s festival season once again!
Truck Festival takes place in one month’s time at Hill Farm, Steventon on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th July.
You name it, we’ve got it: Spiritualized, The Horrors, The Subways, Ash, Gaz Coombes, The Joy Formidable, Frankie and the Heartstrings, Dry The River, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Patrick Wolf , Public Sevice Broadcasting, We Are The Ocean, Rolo Tomassi, Tall Ships… not forgetting Lewis Watson, who we saw the other night at a sold-out o2 Academy in Oxford.
There is also the Saloon, the Veterans and Virgins stage, the Kingdon of Jamalot – in fact, there’s so much going on that we have made an amazing Line-up Planner app to help you figure out who to see. We have also made this colourful map to help you find your way around. Yes, it’s like Glastonbury, but without the lengthy hikes between stages!
As you may have seen if you’ve been following us on Facebook or Twitter, we have just added Sam Duckworth (he of Get Cape Wear Cape Fly) on the Main Stage with Rumour Cubes & The Barry Horns, and elsewhere Thumpers, Dingus Khan and Pete Greenwood join the bill. We shall shortly be announcing the winner of the Trucker’s Choice and then we shall be all done!
The World’s Largest Tombola, the Bureau of Silly Sports, Family art and music activities, Oxford Playhouse Plays Out, a new Food Hall serving everything from sushi to steaks to salads, a Beer Festival stocked with local ales, a Beach Cocktail Bar… Whatever your taste, age and persuasion, there is something great going at Truck just for you.
Weekend tickets are available now priced £74 either online here or from Truck Store, Oxford. These are likely to sell out, and tickets will not be available on the door. No day tickets are or will become available either.
Have a great weekend,
love from all at Truck HQ x
