We are incredibly happy to present to you: The Rockin’ Chair. A new stage for 2017 packed to the rafters with Live Music, Comedy and Cabaret throughout the weekend!
Decked out with doilies, ornaments & treasured heirlooms The Rockin’ Chair is your (Nan’s) home away from home. Presented by Blue Rinse and their wonderful DJ’s throughout the weekend there will be no serious clubbing here, it’s all about shaking your hip replacements and dancing till your false teeth drop out. Taking you on trip through and hit every decade head on, Motown to Hip Hop, Indie to Garage and everything in between. 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s 90’s 00’s, music that appeals to a broad range and touches hearts.
The Mariachis are the fun loving guys regularly seen on TV screens across the UK in the Doritos ads. With their versions of pop classics with a Mexican twist that include the Human League’s ‘Don’t You Want Me’, East 17′s ‘Stay Another Day’ and Joan Jett’s ‘I Love Rock & Roll’, they will no doubt will be the place to be at Truck.
Old Dirty Brasstards
Since forming in 2012, Old Dirty Brasstards has gained an enviable reputation for its bold and innovative approach, on a mission to introduce brass music to brand new audiences. The tweed-clad 10-piece brass and drum collective comprises of some of London’s leading freelance musicians, playing an eclectic fusion of pop, rock, hip hop, R&B, funk and soul covers that never fail to get any dance floor jumping with joy!
Flying Mojito Bros (Live)
The Flying Mojito Bros emerged from a desert haze several years ago somewhere along State Route 375 between Hiko and Warm Springs. Fully Nudie-suited, they hitched rides down the West Coast, into ol’ mother Mexico then back up over to the deep south. They were gathering sounds and sights for their audio-video-rodeo-cósmico show, succinctly described by Carlos Santana as: “some kinda spaced-out unholy sonofabitch chicano-country-disco-swamp-boogie-funk refrito“.
Heavenly Jukebox is the DJ arm of the legendary Heavenly Records, who have been playing the finest records and tearing up the dancefloor and fields at festivals, club, gigs and parties since 1990. They are also the resident DJs at The Social in London. You can expect soul 45s, hip hop, disco and boogie classics, house 12s, fresh edits and new electronic records, a bit of rock n roll, balearic and afro stuff, proper straight party jams and of course the odd curveball.
Dr Bluegrass And The Illbilly 8
Foot stompin’, thigh slappin’ bluegrass from the deep south (of England). Expect Queen, Gnarls Barkley, AC/DC and everything inbetween!
The Glamophones are the midlands leading vocal harmony, retro girl group. A breath of fresh air in an old fashioned way, the girls perform songs from the 1940’s right through to modern day hits with their own vintage twist. Beautiful harmonies and exciting, unique musical arrangements, The Glamophones are in a league of their own.

The Rollagirls are a collective of highly talented skaters and performers that will be around all weekend. On stage, in the crowd and about the festival creating a spectacular show throughout the Rockin’ Chair.
