Truck Festivals first wave of acts is here

We are so, so, so, so, so, so pleased to launch our first wave of acts for 2016.

Iconic rock trio MANIC STREET PREACHERS and world conquerors CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN are making the short journey across from Wales to headline two of the three nights at Truck 2016.

MANIC STREET PREACHERS – James Dean Bradfield, Nicky Wire and Sean Moore – are to perform on Saturday 16th of July at Truck Festival as main stage headliners. Undisputed classics ‘Motorcycle Emptiness’, ‘Your Love Alone’ and ‘Design for Life’ alongside more recent hits from ‘Rewind The Film’ and ‘Futurology’ will no doubt see festival-goers celebrating one of the biggest and best UK groups of the last 30 years.

CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN return after their debut at the festival two years ago. Since their legendary performance they have been here, there and every selling out huge venue, after huge venue all over the world.

Truck will also be bringing the biggest names in alternative indie to Oxfordshire with the exquisite EVERYTHING EVERYTHING and the return of T-Shirt Weather lovin’ CIRCA WAVES, which will no doubt both deliver some of the most festival-rousing sing-alongs.

JACK SAVORETTI will be bringing his beautiful dreamy soulful guitar ballads to the Main Stage, whilst YOUNG FATHERS will be headlining the Market stage, showcasing why they’re one of the best live bands in the country. Truck favourites WE ARE THE OCEAN we will back to headline and tear up our brand new stage!  Playing alongside, are some of the best up and coming acts of 2016, lof-fi HOOTON TENNIS CLUB, Punk rockers CREEPER and GNARWOLVES, the hard hitting LOUIS BERRY, raucous youngsters PRETTY VICIOUS, indie guitar four-piece BEACH BABY, the energetic cowbell hitting dance duo FORMATION pop-folk singer songwriter DAGNY and emo heartthrobs MOOSEBLOOD.

2016 will also see the return of some of our Truck favourites THE MAGIC GANG and the line up leaker RAT BOY, who delivered one of the stand out performances of last year. We’re also bringing you some of the brilliant local PIXEL FIX, ESTHER JOY LANE and the return of WILLIE J HEALEY.
